Since 1981 St. Francis Pet Clinic has been providing progressive, compassionate, and comprehensive high quality veterinary care with an emphasis on exceptional client service and patient care.

We continue to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. The health and safety of our doctors, staff and pet owners, as well as the cats and dogs we serve, are at the forefront of everything we do.

We remain operational for essential and emergency appointments during our modified business hours Monday through Friday from 8am-6pm and Saturday from 9am-5pm.  We will continue to postpone elective surgeries, dental cleanings and technician appointments until the quarantine is lifted to conserve personal protective equipment like masks and gloves for human medical personnel.

We recommend utilizing our parking lot on De La Vina Street whenever possible to ensure you have a convenient and comfortable location to wait while we examine your pet in our office.  We also have a 15-minute parking zone located on Ortega Street directly in front of our building for quick pick-ups of prescriptions and diets.

During these challenging times, we are here to help.
This historic event has provided our veterinarians the opportunity to modify how we see patients, communicate with clients and ensure the well-being of our staff.  We are proud to be a part of our veterinary community and look forward to providing you with the same compassionate and comprehensive high-quality veterinary care you have come to expect from us.

We understand that you may have other questions and encourage you reach out to us directly at (805) 963-0577 or email us at [email protected].

St. Francis Pet Clinic

We understand how much you care about your pet because we care about them too.  Your family becomes a part of our family!  At St. Francis Pet Clinic we appreciate the confidence you have placed in us throughout the years, making us the #1 choice for local pet owners.

Our clinic is also pleased to continue its history of caring for animals that are truly in need by providing veterinary care for some of the local non-profit animal rescue groups.

We are located in downtown Santa Barbara on the corner of De La Vina and Ortega Streets.

At St. Francis Pet Clinic we provide services for dogs, cats, rabbits and pocket pets. We do not routinely board animals, but we will hospitalize animals that require special medical attention.

Solvang Chamber of Commerce Video Introduction
If animals could speak, the dog would be a blundering outspoken fellow; but the cat would have the rare grace of never saying a word too much.
